Greek Fall Welcome Director
From the end of her junior year through the start of her senior year Gabby served as the Director of MSU's Greek Fall Welcome. This annual event helps introduce non-Greek students to all of the opportunities available through Greek life membership. Gabby oversaw all of the directors and ensured their lists of responsibilities were being upheld. Furthermore, Gabby acted as liaison between the committee, the four Greek councils, the university, and the community. As a student who attended Greek Fall Welcome during her freshman year, Gabby was thrilled to serve as the director four years later. |

Greek Week Director of Sponsorship
During the Spring semester of her junior year at MSU Gabby acted as Director of Sponsorship for Greek Life's annual Greek Week. This event spans most of the Spring semester and works to bring together the entire Greek Community through friendly competition and philanthropy. Gabby directed a committee of three whose goal was to raise funds donated to the American Cancer Society, as well as local charities, through sponsorship. During the Greek Week events Gabby and her team also planned and executed a raffle including roughly 3000 people. Safe Halloween Co-Director of Internal Relations
In the fall of 2015 Gabby participated as a member of the Safe Halloween committee as a Co-Director of Internal Relations. Safe Halloween is an event that serves the youth of the Greater Lansing community by giving them a safe place to celebrate Halloween. Safe Halloween provides games, contests, treats, and much more! Gabby helped plan this event by communicating to and coordinating with all chapters in Greek life regarding the logistics of Safe Halloween. Learn more about the event from this State News article! |
